​Season 1 - Team Roster

1. Lauren Isaac

Newcastle Team: Free Agent
Position: Mid Court
Profile: A newcomer to the Newcastle Dodgeball League, Lauren Isaac has yet to play a game in the league itself, but is an up-and-coming talent for the Newcastle Waves, set to play in the New South Wales league for her very first professional match.

2. Lachlan CRAIG

Newcastle Team: Hamilton
Position: Forward
Profile: With seven seasons worth of experience under his belt, and seven straight appearances in the elimination rounds, Lachlan Craig is a veterans in the Waves. Known for his attack-line defence, and his skill in 1-on-1s, he is a player others will look to to close out games and collect points.

3. EVa Bailey

Newcastle Team: Waratahs
Position: Back Line
Profile: Anyone who has seen a Waratahs game knows that Eva Bailey can pull a throw out of nowhere, and turn the tide of a game. One of the best catchers in the league, many games that seemed lost for the Tahs swung in their favour from her hands, and she looks to do the same for the Waves.

4. Isaac Slater

Newcastle Team: Wickham
Position: Mid Court
Profile: The heart and soul of Wickham when they played in the Newcastle Dodgeball League, and widely regarded as one of the best players to have turned out in the league, Slater carried his side to the finals in Season Four of the competition, and nearly took them to a Grand Final victory. Now, Slater wants to take the Waves one step forward - victory on all fronts.

5. Doug byrne

Newcastle Team: Hamilton
Position: Forward
Profile: Feared by all that have stood on the opposite side of the court to him, Doug Byrne has the fastest and deadliest shot in the league. Unwavering in attack and cool headed in defence, he can send a ball from end to end and eliminate opponents with ease - the power house of the Newcastle Waves.

6. Isaac MCintyre

Newcastle Team: Hamilton
Position: Forward
Profile: Hamilton's captain, and leader of the Newcastle Waves, Isaac McIntyre has been in the league since its founding, and leads from the front. Able to close out games with his accurate shots, he is also known throughout the league for his unorthodox dodging and attacking plays.

7. Harry Gibson

Newcastle Team: Hamilton
Position: Back Line
Profile: Known to the Newcastle Dodgeball League as 'Mr Dodgeball', Harry Gibson is untouchable. Covering the length of the field with ball in hand, Gibson can dodge a team-full of shots and come away with an elimination at the same time. When he's on form, Mr Dodgeball cannot be stopped.

8. Rohanna Teiwsen

Newcastle Team: Raymond Terrace
Position: Mid Court
Profile: Captain of the Terrace, Rohanna Teiwsen is one of the longest serving players of the league. Having not missed a match in a handful of seasons, Teiwsen is a danger for anyone on the attack line, with her pinpoint shots catching many an unsuspecting player and sending them packing.

9. Benjamin McIntyre

Newcastle Team: Cooks Hill
Position: Mid Court
Profile: Benjamin McIntyre started life in the Newcastle Dodgeball League as the youngest player in the competition. Regardless, he quickly set about proving that his dodging talents were nearly unrivaled, and only improved his game from there, becoming a threat against whoever he faced.

10. Michael Kolmajer

Newcastle Team: Cooks Hill
Position: Back Line
Profile: Hailing from a background of football and rugby, Michael Kolmajer's speed and catching skills are blooded on the footy field. and honed in the Newcastle Dodgeball League. A core member of Cooks Hills' attack, Kolmajer's dangerous throw has seen them close out many a game with style.

11. Elijah Fuller

Newcastle Team: Raymond Terrace
Position: Mid Court
Profile: Crouched low and with balls raised in defence, Elijah Fuller is one of the best duelist dodgeballers in the league. With blocking and dodging both incredible fortes of his, he rarely walks away from a battle on the line without at least one elimination to his name, and not a scratch on him.

12. Thomas Mccallum

Newcastle Team: Hamilton
Position: Back Line
Profile: From the backline to the attackline in three bounds, Thomas McCallum's viper like throw is lightning fast, and almost unexpected, and even games that are 6v1 are never over if McCallum is still on the field. With his deadeye shot, he is at the forefront of accuracy in the league.

13. ANnalisa Ceccato

Newcastle Team: Waratah
Position: Back Line
Profile: The Purple Cobras longest serving player, Annalisa Ceccato has quietly gone about becoming one of the most dangerous late game players of the league. With no wind-up in her throws, you can be out before you've even realised she's thrown, and she's already back in the midst of her team.

14. Andrew De Souza

Newcastle Team: Waratah
Position: Mid Court
Profile: The all-star Mid Court player for the 'Tahs, Andrew De Souza has it all - dodging, catching and lethal curve ball throws. Described as some as the "slipperiest player in the league", if De Souza comes to the attack line you know he has one goal - eliminations, and lots of them.
