THE RACE for the Newcastle Dodgeball League's Most Valuable Player opened with a bang, as twelve players earned their first points of the season.
Notably, Season 10 MVP Peter Goldthorpe returned to his best in the opening week against Kotara, guiding Raymond Terrace to a 10-6 victory in one of the most fast-paced matches in recent years, while TOTS10 player Jakub Lunarzewski was the catalyst in Waratah's victory over rivals Hamilton.
